I just found out that Michael Dahlquist, drummer for Silkworm was killed in an auto accident a couple of weeks ago. To quote from their web site, "While stopped at a traffic signal, his car was struck intentionally by another car traveling at a very high speed. Also killed were his good friends and fellow musicians Douglas Meis and John Glick." These guys were a great band, and Michael was a great drummer. It's horrible to think that someone would just randomly crash into a stranger's car at high speed like that.
