Funky Winkerbean started a new storyline a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty neat. I've noticed the art has been showing a serious John Byrne influence, and I've been wondering if it's just conincidence, or if it's on purpose, or if maybe Byrne is assisting Batiuk, or something like that. Well, today's strip actually had a reference to Byrne, so I guess maybe there is some connection. Either way, the strip looks nice and reads well.
